For 25 odd years you had lived your life eating and munching the food and delicacies made by your mom or anyone in your house. You are like what is called Rusi Kanda Poonai! That's just a starter for you. There are several other stuffs that's IN-HOUSE. You do not want those to change, do you? Yes, absoultely, no one wants to. But, force can make onself lose our likes and identity sometimes. Consider the mattu ponnu who enters the new house of her new-relation: purusa purusa! What can she expect? The same maruvathey and stuff she got in her place? No ways! It's totally different ball game. As a purusa will you be ready to eat what she cooked? Well, for somedays it would be tasty (Just like the new restaurant that was opened recently!). But after sometime it would be amma pasikuthu! Yes, your mom. You wouldn't get the same kai vannam everywhere! As a pondatti you cannot eat what your purusa cooks! Antha manga madayanukku onnume theriyaladi!!!
Living through all the travails, trauma of not just cancelling a ticket but something beyond that. You both agree on some and fall on the extremes of the spectrum on some issues. Can individualism be retained in a relation. Or sacrifice is the name of the game?!
Coming to think of it, you'll do it if you are one of the weak-hearted morons---> SACRIFICE. I was one. Enjoyed it to the greatest. It was great doing it. Liking what the others liked. But, when I thought again I lost something somewhere. I wanted someone to appreciate what I'd given them. To think and felt the way I did. I liked it that way!
The topic of the discussion was "When are you going to get married?"
The reluctant answer : 30yrs (I wanted give myself time before disposing the idea!).
All stupid rantings I do with all my close circle of friends.

Now, a scheme to make dramatic co-incidences to happen :
Angel : 'That [connection point]... you must be Sambhar's mother'
Mother : 'Yes, I'm! I'm sorry but I don't remember getting introduced to you?'
A. : No, no... we haven't been formally introduced. I'm Sambhar's friend. And I got to know you thro' the Halwa.
M. : Ah! Sambhar's friend then... did you like the halwa?
A. : Like? I'll give anything for the halwa!
M. : Oh, you are too kind
A. : No I'm not! *falling on feet* Oh, Goddess of Cooking, will you bless me with art?
*tortoise coil slows down from spinning*
That should rock! If I can only frame up a good connection point! Well, I'll tell you how it goes, pretty soon! :)
